Hello I'm Jon and with my wife Chris we've converted our home over the last couple of years into a bed and breakfast. After complete refurbishment Amazing View now has three en-suite bedrooms.
The second bedroom can become a family room with the addition of a guest bed.
We've both worked to create a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The house is Victorian which we've updated for our lifestyle today.
We're situated on the side of the Malvern Hills, there aren't many places as beautiful and accessible. A network of paths over the hills makes for easy walking and the views across the Severn Plain to the Cotwolds, to Herefordshire and the Brecon Beacons are spectacular.
The town of Great Malvern is a short walk and the Three Counties Showground is a short distance away. We've produced a little map showing the different routes into town along the side of the hills, depending on how much time you have and energy. (Download Walk to Town PDF) You'll find it on the Exploring the Hills page.
Have a look at the 'picture gallery' page, where you will see some of the watercolour paintings by our guests whilst staying with us. It would be safe to say the pictures are by first time watercolour painters and in some cases first time painters..... well since they left school.
The nearest railway station is Great Malvern. We can pick you up and return you at the end of your stay.
There is a bus service with a stop just below us on the main road, It's called the 'Hanley Terrace' stop. The service will take you into town and to the railway station. http://www.firstgroup.com
There's plenty of parking outside the house in Hanley Terrace. We're at the end of the Terrace, its a cul de sac, Just drive to the end, turn around and park. You've arrived. On the Location page you will find downloadable PDFs giving step by step instructions from the M5 motorway.
I think hotels in the 5 star bracket should be quaking with the advent of bed and breakfasts such as Amazing View. The level of comfort and hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. On arrival late in the evening we were welcomed with such warmth and made to feel completely at home by Jon who showed us to our room. It was beautifully and thoughtfully appointed to the highest standard and we had a very good night's sleep, nestled in great comfort. Breakfast was superb, Chris came in to serve and greet us and it felt a bit like we were staying with old friends. To be honest, we did not want to leave! Congratulations to Jon and Chris for creating such a comfortable and welcoming environment.

From the moment we arrived we felt very comfortable thanks to Jon, who lugged our very heavy suitcase to our room without breaking a sweat! A super host! Room was finished to a high standard with everything immaculately clean. Chris and Jon have gone to a lot of trouble and a lot of thought to ensure you have everything you need . We stayed in room 1, which had incredible views and was spacious modern and well appointed with the most comfortable bed ! However we also looked in room 2 which was full of character and spacious with a huge bed and we will be staying in that on our next visit! Walkers will love the fact that you can go out of garden gate onto hills...no driving. Cooked Breakfast was lovely with good variety of fresh fruits. Having stayed at many B&B's, this is One of the few that we would definitely return to without hesitation!! Thank you Jon and Chris !
